Located between MONTPELLIER and SETE, the VIC GARDIOLE is a village of 2500 inhabitants, in the vicinity immediate of the sea Méditerrannée. The south of the territory is composed d'étants and of wetlands whereas more in north, the solid mass of the GARDIOLE presents a great diversity of fauna and Mediterranean flora.
 
Previously small village of fishermen, the village attracts an increasingly important population from l attractivity of MONTPELLIER, only located at 17 kms.
 
HISTORY:
 
Formerly, the VIC GARDIOLE s'appelait the VIC PONDS because there was much d'étangs, also, there is now of it still much but less.
